The Fair Trader Receive News and Information about our Fair Trade Program.

Playing fair is its own reward. The CRS Fair Trade Program allows you to buy great coffee, tasty chocolate and beautiful handcrafts. Your purchase through our fair trade marketplace promotes fair wages and human dignity.

When you sign up, you will receive periodic updates about the CRS Fair Trade Program and opportunities to participate in other CRS programs that serve our brothers and sisters in need overseas.

Now you can contribute directly to the CRS Fair Trade Fund through our secure on-line donation platform. One hundred percent of your tax-deductible contributions are used to benefit Fair Trade farmers and artisans.

Fair Trade Futures Conference Student Scholarships

CRS was one of nine organizations that co-sponsored the Fair Trade Futures Conference in Chicago from September 30-October 2. Through a Fair Trade Fund Market-Building Grant, CRS awarded scholarships 26 university students and other CRS allies to help them attend the event.

Scholarship winners were selected by CRS Regional Directors throughout the United States in consultation with campus leaders and other CRS partners, and represented St. Joseph's University, St. Mary's University, Santa Clara University, Seattle University, Southern Methodist University, Villanova University, University of the Incarnate Word, University of Portland, University of San Francisco, the Diocese of Spokane, WA, and the Diocese of Springfield, MA.
